If you want a high-resolution mirrorless camera, most experts will point you to Sony’s A1. Canon, annoyed at not being everyone’s first choice, is fighting back with its new EOS R5 Mark II, a 45-megapixel mirrorless with a ton of features.

The fifth and final season of Star Trek: Lower Decks begins streaming on Paramount+ on October 24. I’ve watched the first five episodes of the ten-episode series and can say it’s the same show we know and love. It has the same quirks, but the idea of ending it when there’s so much room for stories in this corner of the Trek universe is ridiculous.
Google has successfully lobbied for a stay on implementing the measures laid out in its antitrust battle with Epic Games. The search giant lost the initial case, with a federal court ordering it to open up Android to alternative app stores. It says doing so would expose 100 million Android users to a variety of security risks.

The Fire TV Stick HD will get you one for just $35 and it even comes with an Alexa-powered remote control. Certainly, it’s one of the cheapest ways to make any TV in your home smart, as long as you’re happy to be limited to HD resolution.
